This blog aims to show the relationship of gender and geography. Looking at the three different countries of The United States, Mexico, and Iran I aim to explain why we still face differences in gender in this modern age. By first explaining a few different geographic terms we can begin to understand what they mean and how they can be applied in looking at gender differences. We can also look at how these terms shape and define the diferent geography of gender around the world. By looking at The United States, Mexico, and Iran we can see how different factors such as, literacy rates, unemployment, GDP per capita, infant mortality rates, population living in poverty, and total fertility show differences in gender. This blog also uses info-graphics and maps as well as videos to help illustrate and define terms and ideas.
