• Labor a person does for a desired wage.
• Looking at the numbers of unemployment we can expect less developed countries to have a greater gap between men and women who work yet we find that each country has their own set of problems in gender discrimination at work. (Domosh and Seagar)
• In the case of The Unites States we know that we still face gender discrimination in the work place due to perceived gender differences.
• In the case of Iran we can see their unemployment gender gap is due to the restricted movement of women in their country, yet this is to be expected in under developed countries.
• Looking at Mexico we see however the need for two incomes stimulates both sexes to work.
